The Journey
What started last year as a simple idea for another pack of Kniteforce Top Trumps turned into a full-on web project. I began by building a small image gallery and a random Top Trumps generator while learning web development. Then it evolved into an online version of Kniteforce Top Trumps, which led to experimenting with a 100% AI-generated game called Beat Fighter. From there, it grew into an A–Z of artists… and eventually became the A–Z Artist Explorer!

So, what is the A–Z Artist Explorer?
It’s the centerpiece of the whole project: an interactive, fan-built encyclopedia for the Kniteforce Records universe. It lets you visually browse over 150 artists, use a powerful filtering system to narrow them down by labels or genres, and switch between views like a grid or a carousel.
Clicking any artist opens a detailed pop-up with their bio, 'Top Trumps' stats, and search buttons to instantly look them up on the Kniteforce Store, Discogs, and Google. Technically, it's a single, fast application where all content is stored in simple data files, making it a data-driven experience.

⚠️ Note 1: Profiles, stats, tags, and other data are AI generated with minimal human input — expect some errors! Content will be reviewed and corrected once the code is fully tested.

What's Next?
Honestly, I don’t really know. It’s been a lot of fun — what started as a web dev learning project became a full-on Kniteforce appreciation project, and my little “thank you” to the label and the artists. I might finish it in the new year — there are still six more artists needed for another pack of Trumps — but I’d also like to make something new.
